Traveling on 84 East: Take I-84 East to EXIT 52 to I-91 South, toward New Haven. Take EXIT 29A - Capitol Area/Convention Center (Right Exit). Take first exit - Columbus Boulevard/Convention Center (Right Exit). Turn RIGHT onto Columbus Boulevard. The convention center and its attached parking garage are located immediately on the right.
Traveling on 84 West/Route 2 West: Take I-84 West/Route 2 West to EXIT 54/Downtown Hartford (Left Exit). Stay in left lane over the Founders Bridge. At the bottom of the bridge, turn left onto Columbus Boulevard. The convention center and its attached parking garage are on the left side of Columbus Blvd.
Traveling on Interstate 95 North: Take I-95 North to EXIT 48 to I-91 North, toward Hartford (Left Exit). Take EXIT 29A/Capitol Area (Left Exit). Stay in right lane. Take first exit on right - Columbus Blvd/Convention Center. Turn RIGHT onto Columbus Boulevard. The convention center and its attached parking garage are located immediately on the right.
Traveling on Interstate 95 South: Take I-95 South to EXIT 48 to I-91 North, toward Hartford. Merge onto I-91 North via EXIT 2 (Left Exit). Take EXIT 29A/Capitol Area (Left Exit). Stay in right lane. Take first exit - Columbus Blvd/Convention Center. Turn RIGHT onto Columbus Boulevard.
The convention center and its attached parking garage are located immediately on the right. The convention center’s main lobby is located on Columbus Blvd. It is accessible from Level P1 of the parking garage.

The Connecticut Convention Center is pleased to offer guests more than 2,300 covered, on-site parking spaces in an attached, 8-level parking garage. The Center’s parking facilities have specifically marked and reserved parking spaces for handicapped persons.
Parking is $9 flat rate on Friday, Saturday & Sunday in the CTCC garage.

The CT Convention Center is wheelchair accessible and the LEGO KidsFest’s open floor plan and 10’-20’ aisles allow for stroller access. Elevators for the physically challenged are located at street and pre-function levels with ramping available throughout the Center. Bathrooms throughout the Center are wheelchair accessible.
Wheelchairs are available upon request at the Center’s Security office and are limited in quantity.
GUEST COMFORT & SAFETY
While at LEGO KidsFest, be creative, get involved and have fun, but be sure to play safe. To ensure a safe environment for all attendees, Show Management requests adherence to the following basic rules:
- Children should stay with their parent/chaperone at all times
- Always walk, do not run: Be respectful of all other guests
- Locate the Lost Parent Zone upon entry
All bags will be checked upon entrance to the LEGO KidsFest. Guests should be prepared to open their bags for inspection and may be asked by security staff to shift and possibly remove the contents. The following items are not allowed inside the event:
- Food & Beverage
- Animals (does not include service animals)
- Balloons (any)
- Coolers of any kind
- Fireworks or sparklers
- Illegal drugs
- Alcoholic beverages
- Smokeless Cigarettes
- Weapons of any kind
Refer to your program guide map for the location of First Aid. A trained medical professional will be in this area during event hours.
A private area is designated on, or near, the show floor (refer to your program guide map) for new mothers. Strollers are allowed in all areas of the show floor. The open floor plan and 10’-20’ aisles allow for stroller access.
Eat & Drink
Concessions will be offered through the Connecticut Convention Center. Outside food is not allowed at the convention center. Click here for the concession menu (subject to change without notice.)
Peanut Products: Show Management does its best to ensure a safe environment for all attendees, however cannot guarantee that all concessions will be peanut-/tree nut- free. Concession stands selling peanut products will be marked with signage.
Dietary Restrictions: Show Management and the Connecticut Convention Center do not allow outside food to be brought into the event. For families with specific dietary needs, please contact Show Management.

AT THE SHOW, SHOULD YOU BE SEPARATED FROM YOUR CHILD… go to the LOST PARENTS ZONE under the yellow Show Info tent, just inside the entrance to the show.
Every effort is made to ensure the safety of all attendees while visiting the LEGO KidsFest. In the unlikely event that you are separated from your parent or child while at the show, please follow these quick and easy steps:
1. Immediately come to the LOST PARENTS MEETING SPOT sign next to the yellow SHOW INFO tent by the main entrance.
2. Give the staff member at the SHOW INFO TENT a description of the missing person, what they are wearing, and where he or she was last seen. Safety tip: Take a head-to-toe picture of your loved one(s) with your digital camera or phone as soon as you arrive at LEGO KidsFest so we may more easily identify him/her in the outfit they are wearing.
3. Remain with the staff member at the LOST PARENTS MEETING SPOT until building security reunites you with your loved one!
In addition (for kids too young to remember your cell phone number), before coming to LEGO KidsFest, write YOUR name (not your child's name) and cell phone number on a piece of paper and place it in your child's pocket (or in their shoe if they don't have pockets).
Alternatively, you can also obtain one of our LOST PARENT Contact Cards at the SHOW INFO TENT after the show begins. Put YOUR name and cell phone number on the card, then place it in your child's pocket or shoe.
When your child arrives at the LOST PARENTS ZONE, we'll reunite you that much quicker!
